Happy Monday everyone! Today I am breaking down the Independence Blue Devils' fourth game of the season. If you weren't at the game, after the opening kickoff, Cardinal marched down the field and scored a quick six points. Blue Devil fans held their breath in the stands and against the tall, black fences that separated the warriors from the crowd on Homecoming weekend. An 18 yard punt return by Stephen Molchan led to good field position, and the Blue Devils played their game.
"We script our first five to ten plays to see what there defense looks like...how they react..." Coach Adams said Monday, after a dismantling 46-20 victory over the Cardinal Huskies. "And our plan happened to work."

Last Friday, Ben Artrip, Blue Devils' Quarterback, finished 5 for 13 for 105 yards. He also had the most rushing yards with five carriers which amounted to 65 yards and two touchdowns. The leading receiver of the night was Stephen Molchan with one reception for 41 yards.
With it being Homecoming weekend, Independence danced with the Huskies scoring 21 points in the first half, and 25 points in the second half.
This Friday, the Blue Devils will face a feisty Fairport Harding team that is 2-2, but undefeated at home.
Do your thing, Blue Devils. Oh, and dance.
